Tournament Schedule

The Tournament Schedule consists of 8 events. Two of the events will be 36-hole events, taking place over two days on two different golf courses, Haruna no Mori CC and President CC Karuizawa. One 18-hole event will take place at Hon Chiba CC with the remaining 18-hole events all being played at Haruna no Mori CC.

Each event will be run as an individual event, with prizes being awarded on the day, and participants may play in one or as many as the events as they may choose.

A Points System will be used to determine the winner of both the HSBC Spring Series and the HSBC Fall Series. Points will be awarded to players after each tournament based on their ranking. The player with the most points after each series will be declared the winner of that series and win the Grand Prize of an Invitation for 2 people to the WGC HSBC Champions Tournament from HSBC.

Notes:

  1. The Winner of each tournament will receive 800 points. Second Place will receive 790 points. Third Place will receive 780 points and thereinafter points awarded will decrease in increments of 10 until 20th place which will receive 610 points. 21st place will receive 600 points and thereinafter points awarded will decrease in increments of two to the last placed player in the field.
  2. Four of the events will be "50% Points Up" events as indicated in the Schedule above, therefore the winner of one of these events will receive 1,200 points.
  3. To be eligible for the Grand Prize in either of the HSBC Series, a player must have played in at least two of the events.
  4. A countback system will be used to split ties, whereby the most recent better score will be awarded the higher rank.
